This intensive 8-day workshop developed and presented by professionals in addictions treatment and recovery work is designed for clergy, congregation, and community -- anyone interested in better understanding addiction disease and its devastating, far-reaching impact. The curriculum covers all aspects of addiction -- its definition, disease process, family and generational impact, intervention, treatment, recovery, the 12-step method, and how faith and science, congregation and community can work together to help the afflicted and the affected.
