We  have an film/documentary about antagonists and clergy killers...coming out in theatres in late June! Also being released in DVD format, and international release in August in 9 languages. Prayer for this project - specifically, protection for me. This film is hard hitting - but it does not aim at any one particular denomination or conference. Although I'm involved, I'm but one of several people featured in the film because of my volunteer work with abused clergy and their families. The name of the film is "Betrayed: The Clergy Killer's DNA"  Steve Sussman is producer/director. Prayers for him. For those who participated: Father Jourmalik, Dr. Fred Smoot, Dr. Jim Powell, Revl Lavelle Sanders, Rev. Beveryl Casstevens, Rev. Rebecca Holmes, Rev. Dr. Queen, Rev. Blevins, Rev. Dr. Bob Mattons' family, Vince (Editor), Robert (Sound) and camera crew.  ... The death of our denomination will not be because of memebrship loss - but because we have encouraged and allowed the rampant assassination of our spiritual leaders.   I am passionate when it comes to defending my sisters and brothers in Christ. Laity too.

We are in the process of engaging our changing ethnic community. For 18 months we have conducted ESOL classes and are now trying to launch a Hispanic worship service. Prayers that our largely Caucasian congregation will continue to reach out and embrace different cultures AND that our changing neighborhood will respond to our offer of Christ!
