Joanna Shurtz comes to the North Georgia Conference after spending almost 20 years working in the courtrooms of Cobb County as a court reporter and as a program assistant for her local church- Mt. Zion UMC, Marietta.
Joanna is married to Robert and together they have four children, Chris, Winston, Ashley and Taylor. Chris is the Pastor at Nacoochee UMC. He and his wife Andrea have four children: Lindsey, Abby, Mallory and Chandler. Joanna enjoys gardening and fix-up projects, and watching the grandkids play soccer and basketball.
