Church Planting

To Whom it May Concern, Hope ministry is an evangelical Christian church based in Draganesti-Olt, southern Romania. Our church was first established in 2003 to spread the gospel to the most unreached region of the country. With more than 500,000 people, Olt County has less than 1 percent of people as born again believers. Our mission is to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the community here. We want to impact Draganesti and surrounding areas to the gospel from different angles. We currently run various ministries: children, youth, evangelism, widow, logistics, church planting, and discipleship programs. We also have social programs such as soup kitchens, home schools, after school activities, food and clothing banks, and other programs. We currently have 19 full time missionaries and host teams; however, we need help to expand and facilitate new and existing ministries. Although God has blessed us with committed missionaries and teams, we still require more. We are looking for missionaries (short and long term), teams, and/or organizations to partner with us. United Kingdom – Church Mobilization

After serving for the last eleven years in mission mobilization first as pastors in the US and as missionaries in Ghana, Kirk and Nicole Sims are now turning their efforts of encouraging the church to join in God’s mission to a new base in the United Kingdom. Nicole is working at equipping and encouraging British churches with their priority in the Harvest, and Kirk is currently pursuing research in West African mission sending paradigms and structures in order to resource the church in Africa with ideas beyond awareness of God’s call to mission. They are both ministerial members of the North Georgia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. Kirk and Nicole have two sons, Aidan and Eli.

Rice and Beans Ministries

Present the love of Jesus Christ through gifts of food bags and prayer in the indigenous Native Indian communities of El Peje and Ujurras Costa Rica. Provide medical exams and dental exams (including tooth extractions).

Youth English Camp, Czech Republic

McEachern UMC and their sister church Jihlava Evangelical Methodist Church join together to host their fifth annual youth English Camp

New Mexico Navajo Indian Reservation

An opportunity for families to serve together, each growing in their own spiritual gifts as they serve others and help the Navajo people not just by building roofs and ramps, but relationships and bonds with each other and the Navajo people. An opportunity for anyone (family, single, parts of families) to serve in a family environment that allows each individual the opportunity to grow in their faith while sharing God and God's love with the Navajo people. This trip offers you the opportunity to lead or be led, to step out of your box or stay in your spiritual gift. No child is too young, no adult too old...everyone has a gift to bring to this mission trip...the gift of themselves and their willingness to serve. God has called us to this Navajo nation to help build disciples while we learn to be disciples ourselves

Lighthouse Family Retreat

We often find ourselves looking so forward to our family vacation...no matter where that trip may take us. Time away from the 'real world' to get reconnected with each other. Time to take a break, laugh, share stories from the past and make new memories for the future. Lighthouse Family Retreat offers that very same thing to families who forget the necessity of taking that break. Families who struggle with leaving the 'real world' behind, because its' reality can be so painful. These families are living with a child who has cancer. Servant families at Lighthouse from SUMC will help these families relax, unwind, and leave their 'real world' behind for a week. Laughing, sharing, being a family...To reconnect with each other...to reconnect with GOD.

Family English Camp Czech Republic

McEachern UMC and their sister church Jihlava Evangelical Methodist Church join together for their seventh annual family English Camp. 

Music Camp Ministry Trip to Mexico

The team will teach children how to lead worship and how to play various instruments. There will be about 25 children and the camp will be held at a retreat center on the north side of Monterrey. Some of the children have basic knowledge of music and guitar. The team will take guitars, percussion or other instruments as teachers are available. This is the third year for the camp and it has yeilded fruit in the form of new church worship leaders and a youth praise team.

Mexico Mission Trip

Evangelism and work team will do medical work, help build a church, and do evangelism through education and outreach in surrounding community

Dominican Republic Evangelism and Medical Mission Trip

We will be assisting with the church in San Rafael with a new church start up and also working in the clinic.

Building Repair and VBS in Honduras

This will be Jackson UMC's second visit to El Paraiso.  Focus of the trip will be evangalism through VBS and helping with needed building repairs
